Peters interest in graphic design peaked since sixth form where he took an interest in stop-frame animation and graphic design based art practices. From then on Peters has followed a path in the creative industry that has rewarded him with a job he enjoys and thrives off. This however did come with struggles and questions he didn't know at the time.

I really enjoyed the lecture Peters was a part of within my third year of University. It was relieving to know that former graduates could relate to how students feel by understanding the concerns they had on where their career would go, what path they would take or if they would take any at all. Peters put us all at ease by informing us of his journey to where he is now but also the struggles he experienced and how he overcome them.

Peters highlighted in the presentation of how he went from freelancing to working with a company and then being made redundant. He encouraged all students by showcasing that although he struggled and had obstacles within his career pathway, he worked hard and never gave up. This rewarded Peters with a job at the BBC as a Junior Designer which he has further worked up to a Senior Designer along with his co-worker Al Jones.

When Peters gave us students a presentation on his journey and points on how to help us within our career, he gave it with clear understanding. It was a presentation that wasn't forced or awkward, it was flowing and what was enjoyable was not being 'spoken to' but interacting within the discussion. Peters did this by encouraging us to take part in a quiz that was humorous and full of knowledge.

I really enjoyed the presentation and hope Peters stays on a rewarding journey within his career, I am grateful to have supportive ideas to help me towards my career goals.
